Apple watch 6 and measuring its accuracy between device and user

I am an ICU RN and our Spo2 monitor attachments are disposable. The way we insure accuracy of our oxygen saturation readings are through the wave form displayed on the monitor that correlates with the patients heart rate. Is there any kind of system like this on the apple 6 watch ? I have seen even the fanciest equipment register wrong numbers because of things like poor circulation, and cold extremities. The reason we know its inaccurate is because of the poor waveform you can visualize and correlation with heart rate.
