Apple Watch Activity

I am trying to share my activity with a friend but for some reason it does not allow either one of us to accept each other. He has sent me a invite and I have sent him an invite but it never goes through to the other phone? How can I get it to go through?

Activity sharing not working between iPhone and Apple Watch I can find the Sharing screen on the Watch in the Activity App. It says to start sharing - use the Activity App on the phone. I assume this is referring to the Activity App setting inside the Watch App? Everything is turned on. Way isn't it connecting? How can I force them to see each other? Other things like email, messages, camera etc. are all working so I know the watch and phone are connected. My husband has this set up and his works and I've compared the two but for some reason mine isn't working... The FITNESS App on the phone is stuck on the intro screen - "to use the app on your phone first set up Activity on the Apple Watch...." So there is both a Fitness App and Activity App that's not quite right at the moment.

Apple Watch invite glitch with specific person My sister just recently got an Apple Watch and it won’t allow us to add each other. If she sends me the invite, I can accept but it’s doesn’t add her activity rings correctly and it disappears. If I send the invite to her. She doesn’t even get it. Both of us can add other people so it’s not a general issue

Friends disappear from activity sharing!! So I have an apple watch series 3 and in the fitness app there is the function to share activity with friends. Based on this, my brother got himself an apple watch as well. The issue is: when I send an invitation to my brother it often takes ages until he receives it, however sometimes I have to delete the invite and make him invite me as then I can actually accept the request. So for about 10min I will see his name in my friends list that I share my activity with but whenever I go out and check the progress during the day his name does not show anymore and we cannot see each others activity progress any more. Which means we constantly re-invite each other but the connection never lasts more than 15min max. We restarted, restored and unpaired our devices and looked for any other advise but no one seems to be able to tell us what to do, we also updated our phones and watches but it made no difference. I got the apple watch simply to hold myself accountable and motivate myself by sharing my progress with my brother. Quite a useless purchase if the main aspect of the activity capture and sharing doesn't work :( Please help!!
