Iphone 7

So the problem is the iphone 7 no longer recognizes the sim card. Says error under settings. When i tap on it. I need to update the phone. Which I tried using the phone but it's giving me error due to no service(no sim) but i am connected to our wifi. Now i tried using itunes and it's giving the same problem i cannot continue updating the phone error. Then I went ahead and did some troubleshooting like airplane mode. Shutdown took out the sim put it back, reset setting etc. No progress at all. Now I went ahead and restore iphone which it did restore and update good right. My problem now is setting up the phone. I am trying to activate it but it keeps on telling my server unavailable try again or unable to activate update phone then shutdown. Doing that several times already and nothing is working. Again phone was updated to ios14 but still no signal from sim. now i Can't access my phone and I am stuck in the activation screen. Please i need some help on this. Please
