Startup disk is empty

Did a recovery but Startup Disk box is empty

If you have bought a used MacBook Air, someone has wiped it for you. To install MacOS, just simply reinstall it by going to recovery mode (command + R after boot sound) and then choosing Reinstall MacOS in the options.
