iMessage forwarding

Can a family member who shares my iCloud use my iPhone for forwarding texts even when they have a different Apple ID? (I forward messages from an iPad and a Mac using my Apple ID)

Hello Jerome Jensen,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand your family member would like to forward text messages to your iPhone. In order to forward messages, you have to use the same Apple ID on all devices: How to forward SMS/MMS text messages from your iPhone to your iPad, iPod touch or Mac

"On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. On your Mac, open Messages, choose Messages > Preferences, then click iMessage. Make sure that you're signed in to iMessage with the same Apple ID on all your devices."

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
