Magic keyboard trackpad - ipad pro - two finger gestures intermittently stop working

Hi there - anyone else having trouble with gestures sometimes not working? Happens randomly 10 or 12 times per day and the cursor still works (ie I can click and hold to scroll, also works with the touchscreen correctly). The fix seems to be to momentarily lift the ipad pro off the magnetic mount enough to break the contact then put it back on. I made sure the contacts are clean etc. That gets it going for a while but it always happens again. Seems like it’s only happened since 14.4 was installed and is completely random as far as I can tell.

Anyone else having similar trouble?

Anyone got any ideas for a fix?
