Magic Mouse 2 lags with Mac mini M1 when iPhone goes off

So this is the weirdest thing ever, not sure how this is related.

I have a mac mini m1 with my bluetooth magic mouse, and it lags every time my locked iPhone receives a notifications for anything (messenger, email, facebook, etc). The mouse just starts lagging for a few seconds and only happens when the iPhone shows a notification.

This is the weirdest thing ever, I turned off the bluetooth on the iPhone but still happens, I moved the phone across the room and it still does it.

My iPhone is linked to my Mac Mini, so this might be related? Not sure why it would affect the mouse movement. Any one has an idea?

Thanks for the reply!

iPhone is not connected to bluetooth, it is just the magic mouse. Also the Mac mini is on wifi, I am assuming this is where the issues is. I kept everything on 5gHz because the 2.4 I know lags the mouse like crazy, I do not have a direct line to my router, so it has to be on wifi.

I took my iphone 12 off the wifi and is only on cellular data, turned off the BT in case it was connected to something but oddly still, every notification I get, news, emails, music, messengers, etc, lags the mouse.

I am on the latest Big Sur, just updated. It is just the mouse, I am not experiencing anything weird with my magic keyboard, which is also on BT.

I have another iPhone 7 nearby that doesn't cause any issues and is not connected in anyway to the mac mini, just the wifi.
