Suddenly degraded performance on M1 Mini

For the past few months, I had no issues playing Starcraft 2 or DotA 2 with low settings on this machine (8GB M1 Mini). As of a few days ago both games constantly stutter; they are unplayable. I think this problem began after the recent 11.2.2 update, but can't be certain. I ran disk first aid which found no issues, and also ran Onyx maintenance tasks which didn't improve anything. Booting into Diagnostics found no issues also, so I have no idea what would be causing this change.
