Magic Key board will not print all letters

If the missing letters happen to be 789uiojkl, you need to go to accessibility preferences and turn OFF Mouse Keys. Hitting Option key 5 times may also work.

Time for a New Keyboard?:

What happens when you try a new keyboard? Do you still get the same errors? If so, then it may be the macOS giving you the issue. If this keyboard is giving you this issue on another computer (your wife's) then it is likely the keyboard itself. So, in all, perhaps it is time for a new keyboard.

Turning off Mouse keys worked like a champ!! Thanks for the info- I did not enter any preferences to change anything... It just did not work one day after turning on the computer!! I always have said that little men live in there and do things like that!! Thanks
