How do I disable 2 factor authentication though I'm forbidden to do it

Though 2FA improves security of my account, I don't want to use it for a while since I won't have my phone with me for a few months which means accessing my apple id is nearly impossible. I would like to remove 2FA temporarily but I'm forbidden to do so.

I can't even remove my phone number linked to apple id nor turn off 2FA

Hello clonetrooperxt,

You only have a small time window where you can do that.

Please click on this link and read about:

"Two-factor authentication for Apple ID" - https://support.apple.com/HT204915

"Can I turn off two-factor authentication after I’ve turned it on?

If you already use two-factor authentication, you can no longer turn it off. Certain features in the latest versions of iOS and macOS require this extra level of security, which is designed to protect your information. If you recently updated your account, you can unenroll within two weeks of enrollment. Just open your enrollment confirmation email and click the link to return to your previous security settings. Keep in mind, this makes your account less secure and means that you can't use features that require higher security." Updated December 08, 2020

See if adding an additional trusted device provides a solution:
