Having trouble verifying my number for iMessage, have wiped old phone and have tried all troubleshooting online can somebody help?

As it states at the end of this support article, If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support, use the link and contact Apple for help.

It might take up to 24 hours to activate iMessage and FaceTime. If the issue continues after 24 hours, follow these steps:

Make sure that your device has the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.

If you're using an iPhone, contact your carrier to make sure that you can send and receive SMS messages.

If your iPhone is used with a carrier not found in the wireless carrier articles make sure you can send and receive international SMS.

Contact Apple Support.

Did you get a new phone number, or just a new phone? Did you contact Apple Support for help?

Make sure that you follow up with them if it still isn’t resolved after 24 hours.
