Replacing the swipe bar for the AssistiveTouch button

Hello. I much prefer the AssistiveTouch bottom on the iPad over the bar that is at the bottom. How do I get rid of the swipe bar at the bottom of the screen once I have the AssistiveTouch Button active?

Thank you.

If you are making reference to the Dock that appears on the bottom edge of the iPad screen, other than the ability to customise the App icons that are present, the Dock cannot be disabled.

The dock is an integral element of the iOS/iPadOS User Interface.
