How do I actually delete an app, so that I can reinstall it?

On the iPhone 12 Pro there isn’t an option to actually delete an app, only remove it from the Home Screen. My company updated our app and I need to delete it and then reinstall it.

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 14

Go to settings>general>iPhone storage>select the app>select delete

[If you do not see the delete option go to settings>Screen Time>content & privacy restrictions>iTunes & App Store purchases>delete app - change to allow. ]
