Cannon MG2522 Printer

I am having trouble with my printer. I have a cannon MG2522 printer. I have a 2020 MacBook Air. (intel version) I tried to disconnect the printer from the computer and everything, but when I did that the only thing that came up was "ready to print" and the printer won't actually print. I don't know if this printer is compatible with my macOS anymore. Please help. Thank you

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.0
