I have a white iphone 12 (I think it' the only one without any coating on the lens rings?) - when the phone is plugged in I can get a slight electric shock by touching both lens bezels at the same time with a similar feeling to the one you would sometimes get by touching the naked lightning connector
Anyone else with the same issue? I'm using 23W brick btw.

Stop using it and contact support from the link at the top of this page.
It's not a static charge discharge - it's a countinous and very quick heat build up as long as you keep skin contact with the camera bump while the phone is plugged in. Like the description in the reddit link - "burning/stinging feeling"
Dragging your feet across a carpet during dry air periods can allow a static electricity charge when metal touches finger tips.
Now you know what caused it.
Since no current passes through them you should get it booked on a TV show.
