App Store not recognising passcode

The App Store isn’t giving me Touch ID as an option to log in, I’ve forgotten my password but to reset it I have to put my passcode in, which it keeps saying is wrong. It isn’t, I regularly use it to unlock my phone. How do I reset my password?

I need to change my iPhone passcode from my iCloud account The right side of my iPhone 5se has lost touchscreen ability and I need to change the passcode to open it. I know the old passcode but some of the digits are on the right side of the screen. The 1st and 2nd rows work fine, so I have my iCloud account open but can't find how to change the phone's passcode from there.

I cannot find the Passcode option in my settings anymore. I can no longer see the option to change my passcode and my touch ID in my settings

Go to Settings > Your Name > Password & Security > Change Password

Then toggle iTunes & App Store under Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > iTunes & App Store
