Not necessarily. It would depend on the source of the board.
If it is being replaced by an unauthorized dealer, it could start with N, M, F, or P.
Perhaps you could actually describe what is happening, instead of posting hypothetical questions.
A new logic board would have everything different from the previous board.
The letter “N” indicates that it is a product that has been replaced by Apple. If you change the logic board, its model number would be determined by the source of the board.
