2 factor authentication turn off

How do I turn it off? I’ve logged in via web browser and gone into security but doesn’t let me change it. I have a new phone so don’t want the notifications to come to my iPhone

Disabling two factor authentication The only answer I ever see on here is that I am un able to turn off two factor authentication. I am trying to turn it off so I can use a monitoring app on one of my devices. The person using the device knows what I am doing but I still need to be able to turn off the notifications. two factor authentication When I got my new IPad7, I did not turn on two factor authentication, but now my settings icon has a 1 on it and when I touch it, it wants me to turn on 2 factor authentication which I don't want. How do I get rid of it? Also, every so often at the top of my screen it also wants me to turn on 2 factor authentication. How do I stop these annoying reminders?

If you are already using two-factor authentication, you can no longer turn it off.
