Burn iPhone 11 Lcd screen

Hello, I noticed that my iPhone screen has screen burns, after about 3 minutes on a still image, but it ends up disappearing after about 10 minutes, so I need to have the screen changed at an authorized repairer because it is currently under Apple Care + or can I keep this screen?

Thanks You!

Hello CarolineBri,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds you are noticing image persistence with your iPhone 11 Pro. We’re happy to lend a hand.

Take a look at this link About the Super Retina display on your iPhone and the suggestions below. These can all help with help reducing image persistence.

  • "Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS. For updates go to Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Use Auto-Brightness to automatically adjust the brightness of your display based on the ambient light in your location. To check this setting, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations.
  • Set your iPhone to turn off the display when you aren’t using it. Choosing a shorter time can help. To adjust this setting, go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock.
  • Avoid displaying static images at the maximum brightness for long periods of time. If you use an app that keeps your display on when you aren’t using your iPhone, you can temporarily reduce the brightness level using Control Center."

Let us know if we can help further.

Have a great week!
