That's a Series 0 watch and incapable of 5.0 or above. Aside from buying a newer one, there isn't a solution.

The OP asked if they could update their WatchOS version higher than 4.3.2, not which versions of iOS it would work with. Niel's answer, as usual, was correct.
I have a zero Series and I have no problem pairing with an iPhone 11. In fact I have like 6 currently that have no problem pairing with the 11 (I repair and resell them).
