i only have my apple gift card in payments and it won’t accept my charges and i can’t buy what i want in a game. why?

We’re happy to help you out with using your Apple Gift Card. Let us know if you followed the steps found in Redeem your App Store & iTunes Gift Card. In the “Learn more” section, it does state there may be some purchases that require you to have a credit card on file.
If you followed those steps and still not able to make a purchase, let us know what message you are seeing pop-up on the screen. And please do not share any personal information if providing a screenshot.
