Battery-'Service recommended', 369 cycles

Today I have noticed a 'service recommended' info when clicking on the batter icon. Run the diagnostic- all's fine. Checked the cycle and health in system information and again, a few days ago it was 'healthy' today it's service recommended. Cycle count 369... And I do a boring office work on this computer only- docs, presentations, music and Netflix... Supper disappointed as it is my first Apple product after decades spent with Dells.

Just to emphasise, NONE of these issues have taken place with the previous OS...

• Get help with your Mac notebook battery - Apple Support

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204054

"For more help, learn what to do if your USB-C power adapter isn't charging your Mac notebook

If issues persist, shut down your Mac, close the display for 30 seconds, then try to charge again.

Or if you have an Intel-based Macreset the SMC."

[There is a pending update to Big Sur (two had same name;

fixed a recent issue) 11.3 should be out of Beta soon. This may

be helpful for several smaller issues; battery too? Check for it.]

• About background updates in macOS - Apple Support

Also be certain to let the Mac run 'mains-grid' power when available

and it automatically can regulate the battery charge while plugged in.

'Battery health' in macOS helps several ways, & prevents overcharge.

Macs since Catalina have that; similar to iOS battery management.

Good luck & happy trails!
