iTunes downloads problem

Although my current mac version (big sur 11.1) is up to date, I cannot install the Itunes application on the macbook. What is the problem, can anyone help?

itunes was replaced with music, appletv app and finder and the podcast app

are not surprised it can not be installed anymore

iTunes has been discontinued for modern Macs and you have Music and Podcast apps/

iTunes went away in back in Catalina, may it rest in peace.

While you can still download iTunes from apple, you have to have MacOS High Sierra to be able to actually install it. Even though Mojave has iTunes you still need High Sierra to get it. If you really need iTunes for some reason, you can use either a VM of a bootable drive of High Sierra
