Microsoft 2011 Applications

Hey, I just updated to Big Sur and now none of my 2011 microsoft Apps work on my macbook air. Has anyone found a solution to this issue?

Office 2011 won’t work on BigSur. You’ll need to update to e.g Office 365. Office 2011 is 32-bit and BigSur only works with 64-bit apps. Catalina also doesn’t work with 32-bit apps.

If you don’t want to buy (or subscribe to) a newer Office-version, you can download the free LibreOffice for Mac. It works fine with Office-files.

Another option is Apple’s free Pages, Numbers and Keynote
