Will an iTunes gift card take care of past due balances?

One day I allowed my daughter to do about 6 different transactions that totaled about 12 bucks. I thought Apple took them off immediately as usual and did notice they didn’t. She got a new iPad. Tried to download some free stuff and it wouldn’t work. Apple tried to charge me at that moment for those purchases over a week ago. Since apples 1800 line can’t accept payments for these things I was wondering if I bought an iTunes gift card if it would take care of the past due balance?

It should do. See If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support.

Yes it definitely declined NOW. when we bought the add ons It had 108$ on the card. It’s a cash app card so we add money when we want to buy apps or shop online to be safe. I just wanna make sure I’m not wasting money by buying an ITUNES card to clear this up. We don’t get paid until Friday and I have money on a chime card it won’t let me add for some reason. So I opted to do it this way.
