Transfering content from an older iMac to a new one
Apple support says to use wifi to transfer content from an older iMac to a new one. Can I use a cable to transfer content instead of wifi?
iMac Line (2012 and Later)
You're much better off physically connecting the two iMacs as it's usually faster and more reliable.
