Running Slow: EtreCheck Report
On an older forum the EtreCheck App was recommended and it was suggested that one post the report to the forum for feedback. I am pretty clueless as to what to do now that I see so many issues. Thanks to all that help!

Hi lshaw123,
Issues/Notes:
Delete the above, then run Malwarebytes. Only keep Malwarebytes.
On top of all that, you also have the very slow 5400 rpm hard drive. Using an external USB SSD will improve performance about 7 times for storage.
Thoughts?
Cheers,
Jack

When I go to run the set up file it says"the developer of this app needs to update to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information "
when I hit "learn more." It takes me to a page that talks about 32 bit app compatibility with versions Sierra 10.13.4 and higher
I have a LaCie external drive but it appears it's not compatible. Will it need to be 64 bit to work with Catalina
How is it not compatible? What message do you see?
Cheers,
Jack
Thanks jack. I tried to delete the "clean my Mac x updater and it won't let me. Says it's open. Can't find it. Grr
Do you have a 64 bit SSD that you recommend
Is your LaCie right now a HDD or an SSD?
