Wife died... how to continue using her iphone11pro

My wife recently died of cancer and she owns an iphone11 promax. How is it possible to reset the fone for my son to use it? We have no idea of her passcode, passwords, appleid, etc. we have actually requested for permanent disconnection of her postpaid subscription from the telco. Will appreciate any help. Thanks
