Lost Airpods Pro with Apple Care

i've lost them and see last location an hour after i realised. Can't find them. I read that only Apple Care+ covers lost pods.

I wasn't prompted or advised of the difference between Apple Care and Care+ when purchasing them from Apple.

Should I not be provided with replacements for free? I believe I should!

Only had them since Feb21!

Thx in adv for replies and thoughts.

No version of Applecare covers lost or stolen Airpods. Applecare+ will help with the cost of damaged ones.

Ask your insurance agency about replacement if you think it is worth it. Usually it won't even meet the deductible.
