Old Computer No Linger Elligable for Software Updates—Is This An Issue

Hi! So I have a computer that no longer is eligible for software updates, and it’s still my main computer. Are there issues with using the computer? If so, are there ways to upgrade the Mac so that it can be eligible for these new updates?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15

Well you do not specifically say what exact Mac or what exact macOS.

If you are running macOS 10.15 the stable release is macOS 10.15.7

Combo update macOS 10.15.7 https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2052?locale=en_US

Security updates are still being issue for this macOS, and will be for at least two more years...so I see no issue here.

The most current security update was Post Date: Feb 8, 2021 for macOS Catalina 10.15.7

It never pays to get too far behind in the hardware or software.
