Recently I can't simply delete an unwanted app from my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I use to be able to hold down the app and just select delete. Now there is a message that says removing will keep the app in my library. I don't want it taking up space on my iPhone, so how do we totally delete an app from the phone?
Turn off Screen Time, delete the app and then turn Screen Time back on.

Thanks, that worked. Seems to me you shouldn't have to turn off screen time to dete apps. Not to long ago you didn't have to do the extra step. I appreciate the answer!

You don’t have to turn off Screen Time if you change the setting for deleting apps to Allow.
