I manage a new watch for my daughter who does not have an iPhone. We purchased the watch because Apple advertised she would be able to share our family plan on Apple Music.
When I look at her watch on my iPhone (which I use to manage it) the music app does not appear, and so we are unable to add songs. The music app does appear in her watch but can’t add music except through iPhone.
How can we get music onto her watch?

Thank you - I’ve seen those articles and they don’t address the question. I’m concerned that you may be right, and it simply isn’t possible - which seems odd because Apple touted this (Apple music) as one of the reasons to purchase a watch for younger family members without their own phone.
