Will touchbar be removed from MacBook Pros in the next release?

I am a developer and I have stayed with my 2013 MacBook Pro for as long as I can in order to avoid the touchbar, since down to earth function keys are so much better for development.

If I wanted touch I would just buy a whole touchscreen computer.

However, I am starting to really feel the lack of performance and will need an upgrade soon. I dislike the touchbar so much I have seriously considered switching to windows on multiple occasions. I would buy a 2-in-1 PC and have a nice big touchscreen.

Enough with the rant. Though, if apple gives us an option to have a proper keyboard I would take that option. Any ideas what I can expect?

Apple does not reveal any future product details until the official product launch so no one will know what to expect (I also hope Apple gives up on the Touchbar as it is very inconvenient and just adds extra complexity -- looks like a gimmick except perhaps for few fringe cases). The best you can do is keep an eye out for any product rumors on Mac fan sites or from general tech news sites.
