On my iPhone I have several mailbox setup (let’s say him@gmail.com and her@gmail.com). When I receive an email where the 2 addresses are recipients, then reading that email on one account (for instance if I read it on the “him” account) will make it marked as read as well on the second account (on the “her” account). Any idea how to fix that?

Are these two separate email accounts, or is one of the email addresses listed an an alias?
How are the accounts set up? For example, does it show two individual inboxes?
Can you explain the steps you're taking to check your emails for these accounts?
