Snapchat

When I try to record a video on snapchat my microphone is really muffled and quiet and sounds like white noise, the same thing happens when I record a voice memo. When I use the normal camera the microphone is clear as day on both the front and back cameras and I have no idea how to fix this.

I think you mean speaker. If so, see:

If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support

However, if you really mean microphone, then see:

It’s working perfectly until when I try videoing and it’s seems there is no sound
