Apple tv

Keep getting error that password is incorrect. Even got as far as connecting with authentication code and went to watch show and got error again. Been working fine until today.

My Apple TV will not let me sign in and indicates an incorrect password. I have an Apple TV model 199C/A and have tried the recommended solution using the verification code in my password but I still get the message Incorrect password. I am using the correct password. Unplug the device from it's power source for 2-3 minutes, then re-plug in and retry.
