Camera and Whatsapp crash. iPhone 12

Hi,

The camera and WhatsApp apps are crashing on my iPhone 12 pro max.

Whatsapp quits immediately after I tap something, but it does not quit completely, the app still runs in the background. If I reopen it, it quits again

The camera is black when I open it.

The only way I can resolve this is to restart the phone.

I can see that multiple users have reported this but have not found any resolution. Can anything be done about it?
