request system update

i have an os catalina 10.15.14 with my macbook pro 2010 . iwant to update it to catalina 10.15.17 . they say you cannot update your software anymore because its old .Can someone help me ?

Are you quite certain of the model-year of your MacBook Pro? Apple only supports MacBook Pro 2010 and 2011 models through 10.13 High Sierra.


The latest update to Catalina is 10.15.7, and is available for qualified Macs already running some version of 10.15 Catalina through:

system preferences > Software Update


Further UPGRADES to higher Major versions numbers, (with different Calaifornia place-names) are not available for your older Mac.
