My default email app is Outlook(using the outlook app). But I also want to add an app for my comcast email account. Their app is being discontinued. How do I use the Apple "Mail" app for this account?
Thanks, but I did all this and got an error: The mail server "imap.comcast.net" is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings.

Yes, using Port Number 993 with SSL on. The link dosn't help because that's for their app which is being discontinued, which is why I want to configure the mail app on my phone for my xfinity (comcast) email.
Did you have it installed before?
Check Mail Preferences>Accounts.
Check Sys Prefs>Internet accounts.
And that is using Port Number: 993 with SSL ON ?
In a Browser login to https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/sign-in-to-email-or-voicemail-on-xfinity
