HomeKit led strip lights

I have hard wired circle lights under kitchen cabinets that I can turn off and on with wall switch. I would like to install HomeKit led strip lights instead. Kitchen cabinets are separated so I will need to cut strips to fit the cabinets. Is that possible? And how do I do that?

Home App and light switches Can the home app be set up to turn light switches in my home on and off? I have a few light switches in my home already controlled by timers built into them but setting these timers up and making changes to them is a painful experience due to their minute size and the incredibly tiny fonts of the instructions that come with them. Scheduling lights in HomeKit I would like to schedule some lights to come on when anyone arrives home between 23:00 and 06:00 (already done this bit), BUT I want the lights to go off after 30 minutes or 1 hour. So when anyone comes in the lights come on to guide them through a space then turn off. is there a way to do this or is this feature on the drawing board for future updates?

Apple HomeKit & Light Bulbs Help I purchased the SYLVANIA General Lighting 74988 Smart+ BR30 LED bulbs and was disappointed to learn that I can not control the bulbs when I am away from home via Siri/Home app. I am now looking at the Phillips Hue bulbs. However, it is not clear if you can control the bulbs via Siri/Home app when away from home. Ultimately, I am moving away from my home automation devices coupled with my security system because of the silly monthly fees that are required. However, at the same time, I prefer a seamless integration for all devices. I do not have an appetite to access an app to control the door locks, a second app to control the thermostat, or a third app to control the lights, etc. I am looking for products that integrate seamlessly with the Home app and allow me full control via the Home app. Can some offer a recommendation? Thanks.
