I have a 128GB macbook so I was wondering how much space will the Big Sur take after installation. I have 55GB available (more than necessary for the update) but I don't want to end up with 10GB free after I have updated my Mac. Can anyone help?

FWIW, the 35.5GB requirement to install Big Sur is what free space is needed to download and install. Once installed, your free space will be very close to the 55GBs available you have now.
