My iPhone XR rings for about 8 seconds before the call goes to voicemail. Please help me change this to a longer ring as I am so tired of having to rush to answer every call and having my phone glued to me all day so I do not miss important calls.

Thank you for replying. Yes, I discovered that soon after posting my query. I have reset my phone to ring for longer and my problem is solved! I think maybe there is a common misconception that it is a phone issue, but it is in fact a carrier issue🙂
That option would be controlled by your cellular provider. Contact them to determine if changes are possible.
