command - and = problems

When I'm in Logic Pro, I keep hitting "command -" and "command=" (- and + keys) by mistake (habit from other applications of trying to resize) and it causes the gain to change in the tracks. Definitely don't want this to happen, but it doesn't seem like there is an "undo" for this, so I'm stuck. I also can't find those key commands to edit them/delete them.

Not an advanced user, so apologies if this is obvious, but would very much appreciate help

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.14

Looking for key-commands in Logic is simple. Just go to your key commands

Logic Pro > Key Commands > Edit...

then press the key or the key combination you are looking for.

Hi there,

This doesn't affect the "gain" of your track, it's just visual only. for editing etc

you can zoom out with cmd - without having to change your key commands.

There are no commands in the default set with those shortcuts. Also, I don't know of any key command that can move the fader(s). Just look for fader, volume or gain in the key commands: no such thing. So, something else is going on here.

So, asqpa, what exactly do you mean by "it changes gain in the tracks"? How do you notice this? Just the volume changing, or are faders or anything moving?

When switching to default U.S. key commands (mac os 10.14)

command + "-" is Waveform Vertical Zoom Out

command + "=" is Waveform Vertical Zoom In

However, you can change this easily after finding the key commands. I described the method of searching/finding key commands in my reply above.

Thanks for your reply. Here is a "before" and "after" of hitting Command =. This is occurring on every track project-wide when I hit the keys. I don't think the faders are moving. Nothing shows up in the Undo History. Thank you!=
