unlock network

vodafone day my phone is unlocked to all networks but when i put in a sim from another provider it says it’s locked

iPhone 7, iOS 13

Hi Paul,


If your iPhone 7 is truly unlocked by Vodafone then you should be able to insert another carrier's SIM card and it should all work. You have stated that it does not. Vodafone claims that it has unlocked your iPhone. Please contact them again and confirm that they have unlocked your iPhone and ask them what are the next steps. If you do not get a different response then you can perform the following task however it will only work if Vodafone has indeed unlocked your iPhone.

Use these steps to finish unlocking your iPhone:

  1. ➔ Back up your iPhone.
  2. After you make a backup, ➔ erase your iPhone.
  3. ➔ Restore your iPhone from the backup you just made.
