I bought an iPhone power adapter with the following serial number: C4H8507000RHYJ1A202.
The shop owner told me it was the original but I need to double check.
where can i enter this serial number to verify?

are you sure this link works for power adapter serial numbers as well? not just iphones/ipads/macbooks?
cause i entered my sister's adapter serial number, the one that came inside the original iphone box, yet it said "this serial number is incorrect"

That is an older model power adapter, I would return it and get the 20W newer model.
