Translate does not work

I open the app then type the words I want to translate beside I have already downloaded the and set the two languages and when I press go noting happens, tried this with a lot of words but result still the same .

My translation keep showing “Translation is unavailable at the moment. Try again at a later time”. Anytime I try and translate on my iMac through Safari or Mail or anywhere where the built in translator functions I get a message saying “Translation is unavailable at the moment. Try again at a later time”. this has been happening for more than a few days now, so trying again later is pointless so far. I downloaded the languages and it has made no difference. How do I fix it as I use that function fairly frequently and the only answers I've seen on the forum relate to iphones. thanks

Translate language issue When I select a word and it’s original language is often incorrect. I think a spelling could occur in different languages and that’s reasonable. I hope the original language could be chosen by user and run as default; or the translate function could choose original language base on the previous translation language. Thank you!

Apple translate isn’t working at all in iPhone11 So my apple translate isn’t working at all, I’ve got a new iPhone11. The app lets me choose my languages but then does nothing 🤷‍♂️ [Re-Titled by Moderator]
