iMovie 10 picture-in-picture opacity

I imported a .png into iMovie ... managed to "activate" the alpha channel by using the picture-in-picture overlay setting ... how do I now change the opacity of said png? I'm looking for an animated watermark effect ...

thank you, Stephan

You can use the Cutaway opacity slider to overlay a transparent logo. You would need to copy your logo to a transparency background and then overlay it onto your video clip as a cutaway. Then use the Cutaway feature opacity slider to reduce the opacity of the logo.
