Mac Pro Status Indicator Light

My Mac Pro randomly forced shut down and when I rebooted the status indication light near the power button doesn’t come on anymore. The one on the back near the power cable comes on and everything else seems fine.

I did a hardware diagnostic that returned a ‘no issues found’ result.

When I unlock the case the status indicator light turns orange and sometimes pulses from white to orange so I know the light is not broken as such.

It’s a very confounding issue and such a small one it feels like overkill sending it off or taking it in for repair.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
