What notification are you referring to?

I have not lost any notifications.

The only problem I had that my watch would no longer see my AirPods.

I unpaired my watch from my iPhone then paired it back and that took care of my problem.

i have also had this problem i won’t get notifications nor when i track my work outs with the workout app on the watch, when i go to check my stats later in the health app on iphone it says i haven’t done any work outs. let me know if you find a fix, i tried erasing and resetting, it didn’t work.
