Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

no sound

I can't get any sound via headphones or computer speakers when using iTunes. I did diagnostics, checked all my audio settings and levels and even reinstalled ITunes. Nothing is working. The audio tests show that my computer and headphones are both working.

Use Edit > Preferences > Playback and look at the entry for Play Audio Using. This will normally be set to either Direct Sound or Windows Audio Session. Changing to the other setting may help. If not set back to the first option and apply once more.
